Couples Championship

2018-07-29 All day

Two-Player Teams with a 10:00am Shotgun Start.  18-Hole “Pinehurst Scotch” format which is a twist on the traditional Alternate Shot format.  There are two divisions within this event: Husband & Wife and Mixed Couples.  This a true test of a couples ability to work together as they make their way through the course.

  • 2018-08-19 All day

    Two-Player Teams.  Tee-Times and pairings assigned by the Golf Staff with a 9:00am start.  Four divisions of play: Men's Gross, Men's Net, Ladies & Mixed.  Format for the event will be combined points of the team.  Net scoring will be determined by adding the each players handicap to the accumulation of gross points.  The score per hole is assigned a point total.  Team with the most points wins!

  • 2018-08-25 All day

    27-Hole Individual Stroke Play.  Top 15 qualify along with our 2016 Club Champion, Charlie Peavley.  

  • 2018-08-26 All day

    The Top 16 will square of in singles matches.  Players are seeded 2 - 16 based on their qualifying score from Saturday.  Charlie Peavley, our defending Champion, will be the #1 seed.  

    Matches are 18-hole matchplay, ties will be broken by additional holes played.  

    Matches begin at 10:00am.

  • 2018-09-01 - 2018-09-03 All day

    The Championship Flight will start Round 2 on Saturday and Round 3 on Sunday.  The Championship match on Monday will be 36-Hole matchplay between our remaining two players to determine our 2018 Champion.

    The Men's Flighted Division will be divided into flights of six players based on handicap.  Play will be conducted in Round-Robin fashion Saturday and Sunday.  The top four players from each flight, will play an 18-Hole match on Monday to determine the flight champions and place finishers. 

    The Ladies Division will play two rounds of stroke play from Saturday to Sunday to determine who will play for the championship in both Gross and Net on Monday.  The top finishers will square off in an 18-Hole match on Monday.

    Last year, both the Men's and Ladies Championship matches came down to the final hole on Monday, we can only hope for such a great finish again this year!

  • 2018-09-22 - 2018-09-23 All day

    A Springs Club Tradition.  This Ryder Cup style event is one our most popular events of the year.  Team Monroe and Team Marshall will face off again to see who will take home the Cup for the 2018 Season.

  • 2018-10-06 - 2018-10-07 All day

    In our 21st year of the "William M. Rider" Cup we will see our top 24 players square off in our version of the PGA's Ryder Cup.  With two teams of 12, each captained by one of top officers here at the club, the competition is intense and fun for all. 

    The President's Team, Captained by Huntley Thorpe, took home the trophy in 2017 and will look to defend their title this year. 


  • 2018-10-06 - 2018-10-07 All day

    Mirrored much like that of the LPGA's Solheim Cup, two teams comprising of the club's top lady golfers face of with similar format to the Lady's International Cup event.  Team's are captained by the 2017 Club Champion and Sr Club Champion. 

  • 2018-10-21 All day

    The last our of Two-Person Team events of the year.  The team scramble is a great way to end the season with a bang!  Teams can be of the same sex or a mix of both.

    A "bite size" version of our biggest show of the year.  A great day to showcase our great club to your friends or family.  Golf, Food & Fun will all be on display as we open our doors to our Members Guests.

  • 2018-11-04 All day

    One day out of every year, we let Ed allow his imagination to run wild!  This event is always a fun day of golf.  As we celebrate Daylight Savings Time ending, we test our members with a team event to see if they can conquer the test's Ed sets on the course.  Warning:  This is not for the player looking for a "simple par" kind of day. 

  • 2018-11-11 All day

    Four player teams and Make-Your-Own Tee time before 11:30am.  Two best balls of four format.  There are two separate competitions:  two best balls of four (Gross) and two best balls of four (Net).  There is no gender restriction for team composition.  Teams will play for the "Eagle Trophy" as we gather to remember and respect those that have served our great country.
